Robitussin DM
Controls coughs and helps clear chest congestion. It contains both a cough suppressant Dextromethorphan which helps quieten the cough for up to 8 hours and an expectorant Guaiphenesin which helps increase the flow of natural secretions along the lower respiratory tract. This combination works together to help control an irritating persistent cough with occasional phlegm.

Active Ingredients
Each 10mL of oral liquid contains:
Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide 30mg
Guaiphenesin 200mg
Also contains Ethanol (Alcohol) 40mg/mL (4.8%v/v); Sodium benzoate, Saccharin sodium. This product contains Sorbitol (21.67g/40mL) which may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea.

Caution
Consult your doctor if you have a cough that persists more than one week, tends to recur or is accompanied by fever, rash or persistent headache.
